Beautiful pet memorial gifts are created to fully honor the relationship between the animals and their humans. Paintings that are true-to-life and sensitive to nuances that make each animal unique. There are certain things you see in your own pet that can show in a painting, too. A painting is very comforting.
A custom pet painting lets a grief-stricken pet parent know that others recognize how much that animal companion was cherished. Being understood feels like a gift, in itself. There is no better way to honor a beloved pet and memories that will always be treasured.
These pet memorial gifts of art can be customized in a range of sizes to fit within your budget and can be done from photos. The process is one I have arranged with too many clients to count, and I make it easy. Gift certificates are also available. "If there is a heaven, it's certain our animals are to be there. Their lives become so interwoven with our own, it would take more than an archangel to detangle them." - Pam Brown
When lives depend on the keen senses, devotion to duty, and specialized training of a police or military working dog, they become a partner and brother or sister. One that would pay the ultimate sacrifice for their human counterpart without a split-second of hesitation. These are deeply affecting relationships which will be poignantly remembered long after their service has passed.
When these courageous dogs are laid to rest, it is with tremendous love, appreciation, and respect for a job well done. Many handlers have been able to adopt their K9 and MWD partners after their retirement, while others have the burden of additional grief from being unable to accomplish that.
"Our animal friends teach us more than we could have expected and love us more than we could have hoped… that’s why we miss them more than we could have imagined." - Author unknown
My heart goes out to all who have lost a beloved pet.
"Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge."
I do believe that animals will be in a heavenly place where they are reunited with the people they love, but my take on the "waiting" is not precisely the same as the usual Rainbow Bridge description. I have experienced the love and the spiritual connections that create this belief. I believe the next existence is one of peace, of perfected bodies, a place without pain, and without illness or fear. There is no restriction to a certain place, there is freedom and spiritual energy everywhere. For horses there is the heavenly herd, and at last, complete safety. Every creature is in it's most nurturing environment. Time there, is not like time here on Earth. It seems so long for us, we say good bye to our beloved animals and then it is we who long for their presence and to be able to touch them. On the other side of the veil, all the time passing here is as quick in heaven as the sparkle in a dog's eye! They do not have the thought to mourn being away from us...before they have time for sorrow, we are there too.
"The day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together." - Author unknown
I hope the pet memorial gifts that I paint are treasured for generations.
